The original part of the house was built in 1800 and is one of the oldest houses in the village of Lowville. The historic integrity of this beautiful federal colonial remains intact and the warm, comfortable, family feeling is felt throughout this home.
Built and lived in by the first judge in Lewis County, Daniel Kelley; thus the namesake - Judge's Quarters.
Judge's Quarters B&B is located in the heart of the village of Lowville, in Lewis County, in the Adirondack Tug Hill Region of New York. In addition to the countless year round recreational and cultural activities the area has to offer, the B&B is close to the hospital, Kraft Heinz and business district. Judge’s Quarters B&B located in the beautiful Village of Lowville, New York. Lowville is located in Adirondack Tug Hill Region. According to Lewis County Chamber of Commerce . Lewis County has unique geograghy, in a 30 mile drive you can travel from the Tug Hill Plateau, home of the greatest snowfall in the eastern United States, through the Black River Valleys fertile farm land, and into the western edge of the Adirondack Mountains. In a short drive you will find over 500 miles of snowmobile trails, the only permitted ATV trail system in the state, and ample places to ski, horseback ride, bike, canoe, kayak, fish and hunt.... we here at Judge's Quarters embrace our small town, love to share our knowledge of it and encourage tourism by allowing adjacent access to the snowmobile trail system.
This historic home offers a true relaxed homey atmosphere, with every detail designed to ensure a comfortable stay. From the luxurious bed linens to the Turkish cotton bath towels in the guest rooms. Each room has a distinct personality, and has been lovingly restored to reflect the past inhabitants yet maintaining modern comfort and convenience.
